Rick L. McKeel, President & CEO

New Carbon Company, Inc and its affiliates including Golden Malted®, Inc. is best known to the industry simply as Carbon's® Golden Malted®. Carbon's® is headed by Rick L. McKeel, President and CEO. Mr. McKeel, whose background is Finance, was promoted from VP Finance to CEO in 2001. Mr. McKeel has held many positions within Carbon's®, providing a well-rounded background since joining the organization in 1992. Mr. McKeel is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Robert A. Coquillard, VP Sales and Marketing

Bob Coquillard's diverse marketing and sales background includes owning and operating an independent convenient store business for over 9 years. Mr. Coquillard has held positions as Director of National Account Sales for Carbon's® dry product as well as Director of Sales for Carbon's® frozen division in the past. Mr. Coquillard graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in Food Distribution and has been with Carbon's® since 1993.

Tom McVey, National and International Sales Manager

Mr. McVey comes to us with a 34 year history in Sales, 20 years in the transportation industry and 14 years in the food service industry. Mr. McVey received his Bachelor’s of Accounting at the University of Texas. Currently, Mr. McVey resides in our satellite office in Little Rock, Arkansas, with his son and daughter.

Brian Coyne, Chief Financial Officer

In 2009, Brian Coyne joined Carbon’s® Golden Malted® as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that he was with LeSEA Broadcasting Corp as Director of Finance. He also has held positions as Director of Finance with Aramark and Controller of Fitness Corp. Mr. Coyne holds a CPA certificate and is a Graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration; major in accounting.

Mike McKeel, Vice President of Operations

In 1999, Mike McKeel joined Carbon’s® Golden Malted® as a Sales and Delivery Representative. With 19 years of experience in the food service industry, Mike was quickly promoted to General Manager of New Carbon Distribution. He turned this sister-company into the largest distributorship in the country for Carbon’s® Golden Malted®. At present, he is the Vice President of Operations.
